Morgan three wheeler nose cone / grill shell

I was working on building the nose cone / grill shell today. I had limited cutting and sanding supplies, but you know how it goes,"Adapt and Overcome". I hot glued the styro together, Roughed it out with a saws all. Shaped it with a wire wheel, and a side grinder....lol. Hopefully the I will be able to get some sanding supplies tomorrow to shape it up better.  I have decided to favor to new morgan three wheeler grill style. I make some mock ups of four different grills (BRA, Ace, Jag, and triking) before I decided.

Making templates to transfer to 20 gauge steel

Set up the rear panel, made templates to transfer to 20 gauge steel for rear deck lid, and body panel.

Front suspension drawing revision

Front suspension drawing revision . Received my Fiero/chevette spindles. I'm planning on using a Front Left Inner Tie Rod ends, from a 1968-1978 Volkswagen Beetle for the upper ball joint, And Chevette lower ball joints. This is my first time doing this, Using VSusp to check this.

Verifying measurements

Verifying seat height measurements, dash height, cockpit area, before I continue. I know the cardboard looks cheesy, But,  I LOVE IT!!!

Using 1/2 x 1/2 16 gauge to form these two sections, Made a quarter round to form the corners, and welded together.

Working on setting some nuts into the frame for the front cross brace. Made up the frames for the rear swing arm section, And cut floor templates.

The Morgan 3 wheeler is coming together. Got a lot done today. It is looking more and more like a finished frame.

More Progress on the 3 Wheeler Frame

More Progress on the 3 Wheeler Frame. Got the top welded together and bottom section pretty much done, now to put them together. Started with 4 main uprights, and plumbed it up. It is great to see it start to come together...:D
